What is the Defence Cyber Certification?
DCC is the UK MOD's cyber assurance standard for defence suppliers. It formalises requirements across risk profiles and introduces independent verification. Certification lasts three years with annual check-ins.
Which level do you need?

- Level 0 – For low cyber risk engagements; focuses on essential controls.
- Level 1 – For moderate risk; adds wider governance, monitoring and supplier controls (SimpleCyber is accredited to certify Level 1).
- Higher levels (2 & 3) – For high to very high risk scenarios; typically require Cyber Essentials Plus and enhanced assurance.
